If i was him
If i was Matt i would have ran too. If the person that made you tride to kill you would you run? Well mat ran and got away but was caught by the Farm patrol that his creator had put there to stop people from getting across the border. He and his new frinds he made have to ecape and make it to a city about 5 miles away by a shrimp harverster and then walk 2 miles by foot. Me i'm just not that tough

I like the fact that you told how you compare the character in the book to yourself and what you would have done.
Can you give a bit of context to your post? I guess I'd like to know what is going on so that I can better understand where you are coming from.
